5th generation?

Evan is competitive with me in getting to play the piano, often literally pushing me off of the bench so he can play! His playing is methodical and calculated, and Mark and I are beginning to wonder what he might do with the piano in the future. We're both trying to play every day now to set a good example!

I love this time of year! Happy Autumn, everyone!

Evan's new friend...

A squirrel recently took up residence in the tree just outside our balcony. Every day, sometimes more than once, Evan comes to me making the squirrel sign, and, sure enough, I look in the tree to see his new little friend. The squirrel has even had the courage to come onto the balcony and right up to the door, much to Evan's and Freya's delight!
